it was a show of jackie chan
where he played two roles
one was ancient time who is meng yi
the other one is present who is jack
Meng yi was the past of jack
Meng yi had this lov with this korean princess called yu su
Meng yi developed lov with the princess when he tried to save her
n escort her safely to the capital to be concubine
one day the emperor is very ill
n Meng yi was sent to get the immortal pill
but on the way he was ambushed n killed by the other generals of other officials
it happened in Qin dynasty
well u people shld have an idea of the government then
Be4 Meng yi left for the mission
Yu su said she wil wait for his return
Meng yi handed the pill to another general be4 he died
then the officials picked a bone by sayin the pill is nt safe
n wanted the general n Yu Su to try
The king died in the end
He buried many soldiers n a big palace
n even Yu su n the general with him
Cuz Yu su n the general ate the pill so they didnt die
Soon Jack learns bout his past
n found the place where Yu su was buried wif the emperor
The general had protected Yu su for thousands of yrs
as he promised Meng Yi to do so
Yu su finally managed to wait till "Meng Yi" to come back
they had a very touchin scene tt they hugged each other
the general died cuz he is bein shot by Jack frens accompilce
then Jack's fren moved the metor stone
n caused the whole cave to collaspe
Jack wanted to bring Yu su away
But when they were escapin
Jack frens called his name n explained tt he didnt mean to harm jack
then Yu su found out he wasnt meng yi
she insisted to stay in the cave n wait for Meng Yi's return
In the end jack had no choice juz to escape without her
